Sewing Day 7
On Saturday 14th September Holy Trinity Eco Church, who are supporting the Pachamama Project, will be holding the 7th Sewing Day in Dilton Memorial Hall from 10am – 4pm.
The Pachamama Project is an organization that is growing a network of volunteers around the world to make reusable sanitary pads for refugees and vulnerable communities in a bid to combat global period poverty. We invite you along to join the wonderful crew who, have over the past three years, have made over 2,000 pads that have helped over 330 women.
There are roles for everyone, the need to be able to sew is not necessary, however if you do have a sewing machine and are able to bring it along it would be a huge help. We need help cutting out and pinning and assembly, and, as with most Holy Trinity events there will be coffee/tea and cake, chat, friendship and laughter.
