All Saints’ Church welcomes its new Director of Music and Organist – Ian McManus
Our new Director of Music and Organist is starting at All Saints’ Church on Sunday 8 September. Ian has been the Pastor at West End Baptist Church for the last 12 years. He finished this post at the end of July and is moving to live in Bratton where his wife, Esther, will be starting as the new Pastor of Bratton Baptist church.
Ian is a gifted and versatile musician: organist, pianist and singer. He has led worship for many years at West End Baptist church and in previous churches, including Anglican churches. He is familiar with Anglican liturgy. We have agreed that he will be playing for all our sung services, including working with our music group which plays on the fourth Sunday of the month at our All Age Worship service.
All Saints’ Choir
Ian will also be directing our choir at All Saints’. If you like singing and are interested in joining All Saints choir, this would be a good time to start! Rehearsals are held on Thursday evenings at All Saints’ from 7.00pm. If you would like to join or would like to know more, please don’t hesitate to contact our choir leader, Ruth Hann, on [email protected].
Ian has got a new email address which you can contact him on, when he starts, which is [email protected].
Ian is currently taking a break between jobs in August, while he moves house and has a holiday.
We look forward to welcoming him to All Saints’ Church in September.
Please pray for Ian and all involved in the music at our churches and let’s give him a warm welcome when he starts!
