Message from Mr Percy, Westbury Junior School
“A big thank you for today and please pass on our thanks to all the volunteers who give up their time to support the activities for our children at church.
The children were full of positivity walking back and Miss Jackson (one of our Y4 teachers) noted down some of their comments to share with you below:
My favourite was the first lesson where we wrote prayers on doves. We wrote them on doves because it represents the Holy Spirit. When Jesus was crucified, a dove flew down from the heavens above.

I enjoyed learning about Jesus and my favourite part was about Peter and John healing the beggar.

I loved how a flame represented the Holy Spirit.

I like the shared story when we drew people because it was fun!

One of our church members who supported the event reported that one of the girls taking part told her she was waiting to grow up to be a minister. She knew God had called her and she had to wait for the right time.
