Donations can now be left at All Saints’ Church
Now that All Saints’ Church is able to open to the public during the week, we are pleased to be able to take donations of items for the local Food Bank. There is a box in the south porch. You are welcome to drop off items during the week when you are passing, or when you come to one of our church services or events.
The Food Bank usually collects the items every week. They are pleased to receive donations of pasta, rice, tinned vegetables, meat and fish, microwaveable meals, pasta sauces, snacks and other long-life items. Also included are toiletries, household cleaning and other non-food products. All food items should have a shelf-life of at least three months on them.
Please drop off your items when you are passing.
They can also take financial donations and you can do this through their website: www.westburyareanetwork.org
Westbury Area Network also host the Community Fridge based at the Westbury Community Project in Eden Vale Road, next to Bright Stars nursery. Members of the public are welcome to call and help themselves to surplus items donated by our local supermarkets.
The Community Fridge is open on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 10.30am – 12.00noon.
