School visits to All Saints to celebrate Easter
On Friday 24 March over 300 children from Westbury Infants School celebrated Easter in All Saints. They told the Easter story, sang songs and read prayers. It is good to know that the children of Westbury are learning the Easter story in this way.
Easter celebrations continued when Westbury Junior School held a special service for Easter on Monday 27 March. 260 children and 30 adults packed into the church. The children re-told the Easter story with songs and poems and we watched an imaginative film of the story re-told using finger paints.
Experience Easter
Holy Trinity and All Saints’ Churches hosted “Experience Easter” on Wednesday 29 and Thursday 30 March. Dilton Marsh, Westbury Leigh, Westbury Junior and Bitham Brook Primary Schools visited our churches to ‘experience Easter’. Thank you to Helen and Graham Stevensen and the volunteers who set up the different stations and shared the story of Easter with the young people of Westbury and Dilton Marsh.
