Everyday Witness – A Journey of Sharing Faith
We shall be starting a new sermon series in the White Horse Team after Easter, called Everyday Witness – A Journey of Sharing Faith. Christians are called to share their faith in word and deed in our everyday lives. I’m sure we all know that being a Christian is not just about coming to church on Sunday, although that is important. It is about how we live and witness to our faith every other day of the week. This works well with the focus in Eastertide of how the early church grew because the new Christians went about sharing the good news of Jesus wherever they went. During this series, we shall be looking at the big story of salvation and God’s plan to draw all people to himself.
Here is an introduction from the Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby:
This is for you – if you could do with some encouragement in living your faith.
This is for you – if you know Scripture is full of stories which relate to your life but aren’t quite sure where to start.
This is for you – If you recognise that you are a witness but wonder why God didn’t think of a more effective way.
We are all called and sent as witnesses of Jesus.
Everyday Witness takes this as truth, and then sets us on our way in living it.
It is a wonderful resource and I urge you to pick it up and engage with it.
This will help all of us live our faith.
