Westbury Leigh Church of England Primary School is a large primary school serving the Western side of the Town of Westbury. It is one of two Church of England Schools in Westbury.
Members of the White Horse Team support the school as governors and in Collective Workshop.
Learning outside the classroom is an important part of school life. We are lucky to have spacious grounds with a range of resources to support this including forest school and our very own school farm. Alongside this, trips and visits play an important part in stimulating curiosity and firing imaginations; we aim to widen children’s experiences of the world around them and support them in appreciating and caring for their environment.
“We are passionate about inspiring every child to flourish enabling them to be the best they can be and achieve well. We believe children should aspire not to have more but to be more; our aim is to give them a voice and to support them in using this to shape their future and the wider world. We warmly welcome visits to the school and nothing sells what we have to offer better than coming to see us for yourself!”
