Lego Church takes place each month in Holy Trinity Church, Dilton Marsh
We have been holding Lego church in Holy Trinity Church for a while now and thought it would be a good idea to let people know what actually happens at Lego Church!
Our time together starts with a short prayer and then we listen to a story from the Bible. We try to pick one that will excite the imagination, we have found there are many that fit the bill. Children and adults are then challenged to make something from the Lego bricks taking inspiration from the story they have heard.
It isn’t a quiet group as you can imagine as families chat, children share ideas and then a bit later on have a drink and cake.
We then all listen as the children one by one explain what their model represents. Some do this in a few words some take a lot longer. Finally we have a short prayer to finish the session. All the models made are left out on display for the whole church family to enjoy.
It is a fun and relaxed time, a chance for children to meet with friends whilst learning about God. Every family is welcome to join us. Why not come for a try out session and see what it is all about.
We are carrying on throughout the school holidays and we meet every fourth Sunday in the month at 3pm in Holy Trinity Church, Dilton Marsh and the session last about an hour.
The Lego team look forward to meeting you.
