Pilgrim Course 2022

New Pilgrim Course starting in January

The Pilgrim Course is an innovative and inspiring programme for those exploring the Christian faith, either for the first time, or as a refresher. It is an opportunity to get together with like-minded people and explore our faith in a relaxed, non-threatening environment. Each stage of the course is stand-alone, so you don’t have to have done the previous one, in order to come on this one.

This time, the theme will be the Lord’s Prayer, and it is about how Christians know and worship God. Over six weeks we shall be looking at a different part of the prayer that Jesus taught his followers. Each session includes prayer, some discussion, a passage of Scripture to read and reflect on, and a recording of a talk given by one of the authors which include Archbishop Stephen Cottrell, Bishop Steven Croft and Canon Paula Gooder. There are some thoughts to reflect on in between each of the sessions.

The last course we ran, in the autumn, about Turning to Christ, was very well received. This is for the whole of the White Horse Team, so if you didn’t come last time, you would be very welcome to join in this time.

We shall be starting, on Zoom, on Tuesday 18 January at 7.00 – 8.30 pm. If you would like to come, or would like to know more, please let either Rebecca or Holly know in Westbury, or Caroline in Dilton Marsh. The course booklets are available at £5 each and we  would like to know numbers in advance. It would be helpful if you could register your interest by or on Sunday 9 January, so we can order the books and deliver them in time.

We look forward to hearing from you.

Rebecca Harris, Caroline Husband, Holly Newton.
