Modern Slavery

#1Life1Voice

Anti-Slavery Day 18 October

The Diocese of Salisbury (schools, parishes and the Cathedral) is running a large scale modern slavery project #1Life1Voice in the hope that this will open up discussion on the range of slavery issues that exist across our diocese and also start conversations on how local communities can act to safeguard our most vulnerable young people and adults.

We have a range of national guest speakers supporting the project and you can access any of the free virtual talks by using the following link:

https://www.salisbury.anglican.org/resources-library/schools1/safeguarding-sdbe/1life1voice-modern-slavery-project/1life1voice-talk-links

The talks will be covering a range of aspects of modern slavery and the speakers first-hand knowledge may well support your thinking and work locally.  Please do attend the virtual talks if you can.

A Young People’s Modern Slavery Art Exhibition runs in the Cloister of Salisbury Cathedral from 15th – 25th October

Entry to the Art Exhibition is free.
