All Saints’ Church continues to maintain measures for the protection of staff, volunteers and congregation
From 19 July the restrictions imposed to keep us safe have been relaxed. It is now the responsibility of our Incumbent, Revd Rebecca Harris and the Parochial Church Council to decide how to move forward.
After careful consideration and following an update of our risk assessment, All Saints’ Church will continue to ask its members to wear facemasks (unless they previously had an exemption) and to continue social distancing. This is due to the increasing rates of Covid-19 and to protect our congregation. Although mostly double vaccinated the majority of our congregation are more vulnerable. We also ask that you sanitise your hands on entry and throughout the service as required.
The NHS Test and Trace QR code is posted at the main entry points for those who use this or we will take a note of your attendance. This is so that we can contact you if one of the congregation attending develops Covid-19 after one of our services.
We will continue to offer communion in one kind only i.e. bread only. Only the celebrant will take the chalice (wine).
We are going to re-introduce congregational singing at our services but ask that we do this with masks.
We will be reviewing this position regularly to take into account the changing situation.
Our continued concern is the wellbeing of all our members in whatever role they play. We thank you for your support in these measures.
