Dilton Marsh seeks new churchwardens

Could it be you?

Garth Brocksopp is stepping down as Churchwarden of Dilton Marsh PCC after more than 15 years, the last 5 on his own. He is responsible for Holy Trinity, Dilton Marsh and All Saints’, Brokerswood. We are looking for one or two people to take on the role of Churchwarden from this April onwards after our Annual Parochial Church Council Meeting.

What does it involve?

There is plenty of information available if you’d like to find out more about the role and everyone does the job differently to suit their talents and experience.

Gary Hepburn a Churchwarden from Wyke Regis in Dorset has written this piece for the Diocese of Salisbury. He provides more background information on what the role entails and where you can find out more about the support available.

Here are some more resources to look at it you are considering the role and would like to know more and the process of becoming a churchwarden.
